This could change quickly. Anyone remember when the SEC had 5 teams in the top 10 in the football poll? That didn't last long. These teams will start beating each other and a few will fall out. We know Duke and UNC won't drop out unless they lose 3 or 4 in a row. Clemson will do their usual fade. Besides, when do polls matter in BB?

My father's ACC had South Carolina, no Georgia Tech...it had the Dixie Classic, the best Christmas tourney, until the Tar Holes got caught cheating...it had Jeff Mullins, Art Heyman, York Larese, Doug Moe, Lyn Chappell, I could go on......it could never be as good as it was then.  Heck, even SC was pretty good when Frank McGuire coached Cremin s and the boys.  I once watched NC State play and beat the #4 Gamecocks in Reynolds at noon, left the game, drove to Chapel Hole and watched Dean's boys lose to Bones McKinney and the gang at night.....wasn't anything better anywhere!
