I don't know how many people on here will even know who this is, but Toddzilla passed away this morning.  He was the "guess what's in my pants" guy from Star 102.1.  He was a big part of Knoxville radio (according to the ratings) for about 13 years.  I listened to him when I was in high school, then I had the pleasure of getting to work with him for a little over three years.
Whether you liked his show or not, he was still a big part of Knoxville radio for many years.  I just wanted to post a little something for him in case anyone does remember his show.  He will be missed.

Sorry to hear that.  Hopefully he won't ask that question to St. Peter.

What was his real name?

DANGERVOL summed [Basilio] up:
"The greatest quote in Knoxville radio history [was] when Kiffin was hired.  Hyams was interviewing Pete Carroll - Basilio was talking to W. Lynn and Small Mike. Absolutely classic!"

That's too bad.  I enjoyed the "what's in my pants" bit.  How did he die?

That is sad, I am sorry to hear of this. I like a good schtick as a basis for Radio... Actual creativity something the damn industry is lacking......!!!

Not sure what exactly killed him, but I know he needed a lung transplant.  The trouble was that they wouldn't give him the lung transplant, because he needed a new liver too.
He died at age 47, but was really sick for the last two years of his life.
