http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2009/01/23/obama-to-gop-i-won/

Challenged by one Republican senator over the contents of the package, the new president, according to participants, replied: “I won.”

With those two words — “I won” — the Democratic president let the Republicans know that debate has been put to rest Nov. 4

Still, other Democrats echoed the sentiment. As he left the White House, House Majority Whip James Clyburn of South Carolina was asked about Republican complaints that Democrats aren’t listening to what their GOP colleagues have to say. “We’re responding to the American people,” he said. “The American people didn’t listen to them too well during the election.”

It is strange that the so-called "good christian" republicans think so highly of the selfishness and greed of an avowed atheist? Ayn Rand???

So much for bipartisanship. Doesn't this sum up the first 7 days of the Obama administration?

Totalitarianism = a concept used to describe political systems whereby a state regulates nearly every aspect of public and private life (see the forthcoming economic stimulus package). Totalitarian regimes or movements maintain themselves in political power by means of an official all-embracing ideology and propaganda disseminated through the state-controlled mass media (see the MSM's Obama worship), a single party that controls the state, personality cults, control over the economy, regulation and restriction of free discussion and criticism.

Somebody should probably explain to Obama that he was elected President and not King.    You also might want to mention that there will be another election in four years.

That's funny, coming from a defender of the "Decider" and the "Unitary Executive" vested with vast arrays of 'inherent" powers as President and Commander in Chief.

I figured it would take at least six months before having an unrestrained President started offending "conservatives."  It appears it took less than a week.
