Supposedly we made up ground with Marsalis Teague and that would be great, but we are still trying to pry Kendrick Hardy from Southern Miss.

Teague the prospect from Henry County High School in Paris, Tenn is still a FL commit but he seems to be re considering the Vols. I always wondered if he was FL material and where he would fit in at Gainesville.

If we want the 6 foot Hardy I can;t understand why he will not change his commit..

Darren Myles  has now added UT to its list of possible schools, a big Safety prospect that we will need to replace Morley and Berry after this season would be nice.

The big news is that Edwards committed to UT after returning home from his official visit to Knoxville. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound cornerback is  from Glenville High School in Cleveland, Ohio.

Wasn't Edwards considering Cincy and Minnesota? Not the most impressive "get."

The local press think that Quinton Washington’s official visit to Tennessee went very well. I suppose any help we can get will be appreciated.

Plumber, be patient. This coaching staff has been together for about 2 weeks. No way Kiffin can save this class. At least you can allow him some time to establish some relationships before you start "stepping up". Word I am getting is that Teague AND Marlon Brown are a very strong possibility. Two months ago, neither was even going to visit. Give'em a lil time...Hell, at least give'em until signing day.

Quinton Washington is a fine player and one of the best in our state.  We are still actively recruiting him.  I also hear that Sam Montgomery is paying UT a visit this weekend.  He saw Chavis and LSU last weekend and I think they are the team to beat.

PV, it seems like the coaches have been working night and day in trying to put together a good recruiting class and you think they need to "step it up".  Don't get your underwear in a wad so quickly.

Washington stays in state IMO.
