Does Semen have formaldehyde in it?

Anybody have any opinion of the A Rod apology? I thought Peter Gammon did a very good job.

I guess it really is hot in Texas,  but I don't buy he didnb't know exactly what he was putting into his body. He would apologize in one breath  then in another would claim to have been naive and not exactly know what he was taking What made me mad was his putting the blame on the culture in baseball at the time. Was he not one who helped create that culture?

His apology was pretty much something he had to do.  I understand his "it was the culture" statement.  Those guys compete at the highest level.  If everybody else is doing it and the owners are sweeping it under the rug, I guess some guys almost feel pressured into it if they want to be at the top of the game.  Its not like a whistle blower is going to be welcomed or accepted in any clubhouse.

His apology should have been for flat out lying about it in the Katie Couric interview.  Most of those guys are more sorry about getting caught than they are juicing up.

That may be true. But as of now, nothing has been said about it. Besides, it's not just steriods is why I grew tired of baseball. The constant griping between players and owners, a commissioner that is a complete tool, using the All-Star game to decide World Series home field advantage, juicing the baseball, and on and on.

He's still lying.   Do you really think he started using in Texas, had great success and then quit juicing?     He was a very good player before he started cheating.    Now he should be remembered for being a cheater.
