This time in OT against Arkansas at home.  Down to the wire in OT.  Horn has only 1 defeat at home this season and this was our 8th win in conference.  That is more regular season conference wins than Dave Odom accomplished the last 2 seasons.

Did the Vols and Kentucky win today?

Tenn played at Kentucky today and got blown out.
Florida drilled Vandy so it is USC, Kentucky and Florida on top right now.

Sounds like Kentucky has momentum and will be motivated to avenge the ealier home loss to us when we play in Columbia on Wednesday night.  If we can pull off a victory that night, it will be nice.

Play the Vols at home Wednesday week.  That should be a tough one for us.

I hope USC beats Kentucky.
I wouldn't be too concerned about the Vols the way they have been playing lately,
especially on the road.

I think the Vols have the most talented players in our conference.  From what I am hearing, they need to work on their team concept.  If they get it right, they will be final 4 caliber IMHO.

I was going to Columbia for the USC game but after watching the last two games, think I'll save the money and the time and watch it on the boob tube.

You do know that your hero doesn't coach the basketball team, don't you?

Gus...

SOS has the passion back.  I don't know what has happend since he restructured his staff but the man is acting like a Spring chicken full of life and motivated by goals.  He held his Junior Day this past weekend and had 150 recruits.  He said if he gets his targets, he'll have the #1 class in the country.  Told a top QB prospect he is nowhere close to retiring.

I give some credit to Lane for this transformation.  I think Lane is providing some purpose for our "hasbeen" coach.  Things are starting to get fun again.

He will lose that passion quick when your QB's start completing a high % of passes to opposing DB's again in 2009.

Your right.  We have a big question mark at quarterback next season just like the Georgia Bulldogs.  How will life be without Stafford and Moreno?  Does Richt have someone to throw passes to AJ Greene?

In the East, everybody knows it is Florida all the way and the rest are battleing for second.  Everyone except Land Kiffen knows this since he already guaranteed a victory.  How many more days until Lane beats Urban???
