There have been a lot of singers/entertainers over the years that I simply couldn't understand what people saw in them. Off the top of my head I can think of Ricky Martin, Cher, and  Bob Dylan (wil probably get blasted on that one but I think he sucks).  But at the top of my list right now has to be the Jonas Brothers.  I have no clue at all what their appeal could possibly be.

I bet it would be fair to say, they would feel the same about you if you were somebody. They would talk about it on the way to the bank.

That's probably true.  He was probably at least coherent enough back then that you could actually understand the words he was singing.

None of the Jonas Bros will ever write anything worthy of even being mentioned in the same breath as All Along the Watchtower.

You had to be stoned to understand what he was saying. Guess that's why some many from that era loved him.

Bob Dylan as a performer is awful. Terrible voice, and delivery.

But as a song writer he is brilliant. I love to hear other people perform his songs. How about Hendrix covering, "All along the Watchtower."
Everyone from the White Stripes to The Byrds. (Mr. Tamborine Man)

He also wrote like 60 Gospel songs. Some deep stuff.

Simple.  Teen girls love them.  Even more importantly, parents don't mind spending money on Jonas Brothers stuff for their kids because of their morals, wholesome image, etc.

I didn't realize that was their image.  Is it real or just a gimmick?  I seem to remember Britney Spears using that schtick  one time as well.

That's true.  Luckily,  my 13 year old son thinks they suck too so I'm not subjected to them in the slightest.
