Does Watchmen suck?

I have heard mixed things about this flick. The original inventor has nothing to do with it. But the folks who did it want to keep it close to the comic books edge.

I've never read a comic book in my life so I have no clue how realistic the movie is. I can say the movie really sucked in general. A total waste of almost three hours. The lone bright spot was the one good looking gal did get naked.
