Even though there's 3 minutes left in the game I have confidence the game is in UT hands therefore, let me be the first to start this thread..

I had LSU battling TN in the ship but I"ll take Miss State.. What are your thoughts heading into the championship tomorrow?

I say if the VOLS start strong like they have the last 2 games, we'll be cutting down the nets with ease..

I was going to start one titled "Finally! A final!"
Oh well.

Miss State will be playing their 4th straight game and they are coming off
a big win. Fatigue may be a factor for them. Tenn didn't play as well today
as yesterday. Should be a good game. Tenn is wayyyyyy overdue for a SEC tourney
championship!

A great game and tourney so far.  A SEC championship will be sweet--especially after all of the struggles.  I just wish it was in Atlanta instead of Tampa.  Go Vols!

I like our chances with State rather than LSU.   I believe our depth and fresher legs will be an advantage.
Regular season last year and the SEC tourney this year.  I'd say Coach Pearl is earning his salary.  Pearl detractors what say you now ?  Guess the house doesn't matter any more.

Is it possible a Tenn basketball team is actually peaking at the right time?  Has anyone checked the temperature in Hell today?

Rudy......Making the "final" in the SEC this year aint much to puff your chest about.
Final this year means "finally over"and an * is in order.

WTF!! My Vols are in the Championship game after playing two outstanding games against pretty d@mn good opponents, yet there are only 6 replies to the thread about this?  I guess everyone is down in tampa. This is unbelievable/awesome!  Ill take an SEC championship over another sweet 16 or even an elite 8.  Git 'er done Bruce! Congrats on two intense great games played although in the second half your team gave AU too many good look at 3s

Ummmm.....I think the SEC championship for this year is residing in Baton Rouge. Maybe next year?

The SEC tourney championship would be as significant to the UTBB program as last years regular season championship. It would exercise one of the last demons that haunt UTBB fans...It would allow another banner to be hung...It would help recruiting...it would boost joggin suit sales...It would boost the Vols NCAA tourney seed...nothing but good can happen if the Vols can seal the deal.

The future of UTBB is so bright, you need sunglasses to look at it.
