Gang,

I now officially have a son!  He was born a couple of days ago, and both Mom and boy are healthy.  It was a very scary delivery but all worked out well in the end.  I am truly blessed to now have two healthy kids.  Thank the good lord for watching over us and for a great team of nurses and doctors.

What a blessing from the Lord. Congratulations!

What a responsibility we have when the Lord entrust us with a life to train up.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is older he will not depart from it.

If our parents today only had as much zeal to train up their children in the way of the Lord, as they do to see them score touchdowns and hit home runs. We have fallen pray to the ways of this world, thinking that what matters are trophies, awards, and "making something of ourselves" in this world. But what good does it do for a man to gain the whole world and lose his very soul.

Some parents don't train their children to do much of anything. Really sad. I'm glad my oldest is very smart.

Congrats on the new child.

Thanks to all for the well wishes.  Life is good even with only 3 hours of sleep.  :)  I'm a very lucky man indeed.

Congrats Taylor.  I'm glad to hear the Mother and Son are doing well. Get ready for some serious sleep deprivation!
