Knowing the power of prayer, I am asking for your help. My wonderful 32 year old D-I-L who has successfully battled breast cancer has now found out the cancer has returned to her liver. A routine MRI check-up found two small spots located there and so I am asking for your prayers for she and my son. Fortunately it was found very early. Karson has a great attitude and will to live and will battle this with all her strength. She started a new type of chemo this week and if this new chemo shrinks the two tumors she will have laser surgery later. We, as a family, take all of this one day at a time.
I want to thank you in advance for any and all prayers said. God Bless ! ! !

Gus,
I am very sorry to hear that. I will.
******
My cousin needs them as well. She is athletic, single, 47, rides her bike on long trips and eats well and did her mammograms on schedule. She is a fine person. They were watching a cyst since last August and there was a tumor hiding and growing behind it. She found an unrelated knot herself under her arm in May. I have never heard of this, but she has two types of cancer. She has dumped her first doctor and is undergoing chemotherapy before she has a double mastectomy (sp?) and then radiation. She has a good support team in family, friends, and her church and continues to ride her bike while undergoing chemo.
Folks, don't relent on your overall health and don't wait for the healthcare system to take care of you.

Yes MRM. Karson has had her first chemo treatment (tolerated it better that the first time around) and is ready for a second one soon. Her bone scan was clear which is great news. After 3 months of treatment, she will have another MRI to see if the tumors are shrinking. If they shrink, she will have laser surgery to try and remove them. God knows she has a battle in front of her but she is one courageous young lady. Thanks for your concern. Please keep praying for her.
