Thunderin' Jayzus! Didja think I was dead!?!?!

I should suspect that the safest place for Thomas is in jail. If I were him, I'd fight like hell to stay there.  It's real tough to get "relief" from a .40 cal double tap to the back of the head. And just try to find an ET jury that would convict anyone of anything more than littering for offing that worthless SOB.

Coleman not guilty of Murder One or Rape, guilty of facilitation of rape and robbery only.

Will Judge Baumgartner have the guts to make her sentences consecutive?

I guess it depends on whether he can find glasses. He butchered more things during yesterday's verdict than a meat cutter at Food City.

Yeah, he was griping about not having his glasses.  I was thinking there were several bailiffs and other court officers there he could have sent for them. His office is (I think) about 25' from the courtroom.

Article profiling the prosecution attorneys in the KNS:

http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2010/jul/31/a-conviction-to-see-justice/

"The job description read something like this:

Seek justice for two innocents kidnapped, tortured, raped and slain. Build four separate capital murder cases involving eight lawyers and four distinct defense strategies with physical evidence ranging from mounds to none. Satisfy two large, outspoken families with huge circles of friends and supporters."

I am going to tell you that if the Boyd kid cannot be tried on Murder charges he will get a new trial and his sentence will be reduced. This is not my opinion this is a fact.

Good. Then somebody will kill his worthless a** and we won't have to pay to support him for the next umpteen years.

If whoever ends up doing the deed is charged with anything more than littering I will be shocked.

Normal sentence for Boyds conviction is 7 years total even for repeats. He got double and consecutive. He has served about 2 years  plus time in jail awaiting trial. He would normally start getting parole hearings in another year. THE DA office keeps telling everybody they want to pursue murder and want to agree to not if he will accept the current sentence. His lawyer is silent but a Fed will eventually look over the sentence and according to my friend in the DA's office all of their legal minds say it will be either overturned or reduced.  A Vanderbilt Freedom Foundation attorney has told the family to sit tight he will be out in 3-4 years tops.

Pat if anybody is going to kill him they will do it in prison. He is a member of the NFL and is probably untouchable on the streets other than from Salvadorian MS-13

Wild card in all of this is Newsom's family.....

why is everyone so sure that all these savages are afraid of Boyd - if he is such a powerful gang member, then what was he doing working shifts down at the Day Labor office for his spending money ??

Ole PV is playing his "source" game again.  I agree with OMG that if he gets out he will be dead earlier than if he had served his full sentence.

Now we find out why Baumgartner was wifty from time to time. He was whacked out on pain pills and busy keeping his supplier out of jail.

Looks like the Christians and the Newsomes get to do it all over again.

Dear God in heaven I hope not.  For their sakes and for the public.  That would be brutal............
