Copies or links to the previously released, Hawaiian "Certification of Live Birth", which is NOT a valid Birth Certificate, does not constitute valid proof to claim the reward.

I, Jason Hommel, promise that I will give $100,000 to the first person who can prove to my satisfaction that Barack Obama, acting as president of the United States, is a "natural born" citizen of the USA, which is a qualification to hold the office as indicated in the U.S. Constitution.

I hope the marketing campaign turns out well for him.  Nice job with the disclaimer, too.

So, you can prove Obama was born in Hawaii, but unless you prove to this idiot's "satisfaction" that the insane theories of the lawyer/dentist/huckster Orly Taitz dont' apply, you're out of luck.

I have to give the guy credit for being creative.  Nothing like a birther controversy to steer end of timers to your precious metals sales business and your 49.95/month investment consulting business.

The people who cannot accept Obama as their president and question his legitimacy question his skin color not where he was born..... The biirthers hide behind that issue as a way to avoid the "race issue"

Nah, it's just a coincidence that the center of the birther movement is the white South.  Racism is dead.  If you don't believe it, ask a white boy, he'll point out the only racists anymore are blacks like Obama and hispanics like Sotomayor who clearly hate the white population of this country.

Unbelievable. I love the disclaimer "to my satisfaction," which, of course, is his way out of paying anything. There is nothing that will prove to his "satisfaction" that Obama is a US citizen because the lunatic doesn't want to believe it.

Nah, it's just a coincidence that the center of the birther movement is the white South.

-Disclaimer: I am not advancing the notion that Obama is not a US citizen, I am just trying to counter some of the, as LTC would say, "lies, innuendo and rumor."

I know it goes against the liberal talking point of portraying white Southerners as racist, but here are some interesting facts concerning some of the more influential "birthers":

1. This document was created by the We the People Foundation, which is based in Queensbury, New York. They have been some of the more vocal birthers and have the big money to fund a "birther movement"

http://www.wethepeoplefoundation.org/UPDATE/misc2008/ChicagoTribune-ObamaLtr-Nov-2008.pdf

2. Alan Keyes: in case you didn't know, Mr. Keyes is black.

3. Lou Dobbs: even though he was born in Texas, which I know automatically qualifies him as a racist, he has lived most of his adult live in the North and graduated from Harvard.

4. Jason Hommel (the person mentioned in DM's topic): although I do not know where he was born or where he has spent most his life, he currently resides in California.

5. Philip J. Berg: Pennsylvania attorney, a Democrat and former deputy state attorney general, filed a complaint alleging that Obama was born in Kenya.

6. Anthony Robert Martin-Trigona: usually known as Andy Martin (born 1945 in Middletown, Connecticut) is an American journalist, perennial candidate, and vexatious litigant. The Nation, The Washington Post, and The New York Times have identified him as the primary source of false rumors about Obama.

7. Leo Donofrio: a retired lawyer from New Jersey, filed suit to challenge the eligibility of Obama based on whether he is a natural-born citizen.

8. Cort Wrotnowski (that's a good Southern name): Greenwich, Conn. resident and health-food-store owner filed a suit in the Connecticut Supreme Court challenging the authenticity of presidential candidate Obama's Hawaii birth certificate.

9. Markham Robinson: chairman of the American Independent Party and a California candidate for president elector, filed a lawsuit with Alan Keyes requesting that Obama provide documentation that he is a natural born citizen of the United States.

This list is not exhaustive, but I hope you get the point.

69% of the "birthers" are from the South ... and most are Republican.

FL, the Daily Kos? Now that is a totally unbiased group.

I will now pull the NCVOL "it depends on how they asked the question" card.
