Yes FL there are allot of contradictions in the bible, unfortunately not the kind you claim.
The first contradiction was when God said not to eat of the tree of knowledge and he was disobeyed.
Then there was the time Jonah didn't obey God and follow his will, KNOWING and believing 100% that god was real and sovereign.
Another contradiction in the Bible was that Christ was here among us, teaching and healing, and declaring the truth and we nailed him to a tree for his works, no good deed goes unpunished.

The fact is that man has contradicted the nature of God since the very beginning, and the biggest contradiction of all, is that thought we deserve death and damnation, God himself has paid our price, and given us grace, that is the most amazing contradiction of all the words in the bible.

God has given us all the knowledge that has lead to the greatest discoveries in TRUE SCIENCE...nearly 100% of what we know today to be true is because of Christian's who loved God and sought to understand the beauty and wonder of his creation.

If you were honest and truly seek understanding of the Bible, the so called contradictions are easy to explain, and melt away, the fact is what man makes complicated and convoluted, God has made clear, and so simple even a child could understand it, while at the same time those professing themselves to be wise are dumbfounded by this, it is truly amazing and a wonder to behold.

I just love those who would pit science against Christianity as if they were at odds.

Science is information and observable evidence. It is not an ideology. However, there are people within science who want to impose their worldview and ideologies on the evidence.

FL, what about the many evolutionists who used "science" to try and promote racism? Are you saying that this is the fault of science? No, it is the fault of corrupt people and their corrupt interpretations.

Quote
Compare that to Bible and all the wars; institutional slavery; exploitation of women; persecution of Jews and homosexuals; etc; etc. that have resulted from "Christians" acting on their interpretation of the Bible.
There is no way anyone taking the bible at its face value could come to those conclusions. They would have to be corrupt. Just like with science. The problem is not science or the bible, but corruptible humans. If you'd like to sight any specific texts we can address them individually.
If I went an committed some heinous act, and said, "the bible was my inspiration," would you buy that Bible was to blame and was in fact corrupt and untrustworthy, or that I was corrupt and untrustworthy.

If you'd like to address the so called specific contradictions we can as well. One at a time.
You bring up one, and I'll give you a link to a DETAILED explanation. http://www.apologeticspress.org/articles/2194

FL, if I asked you if you discoverd that supposed contradiction on your own, could you answer yes? If you are 100% honest, my money is, "no." My guess is you have filled your mind with bunk from anti-Christian sources. Have you investigated Gen. 1 and 2 for yourself, and have you weighed the arguments? My guess is, no. The reason I say, this is that these questions have been asked and answered since long before we were even born.
