That is why a jew who accepts Christ is considered a completed Jew, and Christians of the faith are "grafted" into the Jewish Faith, Christ did not destroy the Jewish faith, he completed it, fulfilled it's promises, and brought it to a completed circle....so the truth is Christianity is the TRUE culmination of the covonent between God and Abraham.

If a Buddhist accepts Allah, is he a completed Buddhist?

Neither Muslims nor Jews buy that crap about Christianity being the "true" culmination of the covenant between God and Abraham. If Jews and Muslims can agree on anything, you might want to reconsider your position.

YOu are a RIOT!! that is why I will choose the wrods of Christ 100% over the words of man any day, your ignorance is showing.

1. Christ himself is the one that said he comleted the jewish faith.
2. Christ himself said that their would be faiths likes the muslims and mormons who took his words and twisted them to make their own "new" religeions.
3. Christ himself said that the Cross is foolishness to the wicked.
4. Christ himself said he is the ONLY way to God. The reason he said this was because he KNEW there would be others who would claim otherwise.

So we can believe YOU and we all know that YOU have much more knowledge and compassion and wisdom than Jesus does...and we can believe the WORLD and it's humanistic self serving beliefs....or we can stand strong in our faith and believe in the words of Christ, to me there is even no competition.

The Wisdom of "Foolish" Words

Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians 1:18-20

I know very well how foolish the message of the cross sounds to those who are on the road to destruction. 1 Corinthians 1:18

Jose couldn't wait to get to school that morning. He had to talk to Tony, the kid who sat next to him in homeroom.

"You should have been there!" Jose exclaimed.

"Been where?" Tony asked, shuffling books in his desk.

Jose explained. "My dad took me to the NASCAR race this weekend. It was so awesome! You should have seen the cars."

"I've seen cars," Tony said.

"No, you don't understand. These were awesome. When they revved their enĀgines it was like you could feel it shake your bones. And they were so fast, you thought they were going to fly right off the track and land in the stands."

Tony shrugged. "They just go around and around. It sounds kind of stupid."

Jose's enthusiasm suddenly disappeared. "All I know is, it was cool," he said with a sigh. "If you had been there, you'd think so too."

Talk about it: Have you ever tried to explain an experience to someone-and he just didn't get it? How did you feel?

Frustrating, isn't it? It's so clear to you, but it might not make much sense to your friends who didn't experience it for themselves.

It can be that way when we talk to some people about Jesus. The Bible tells us to be ready to share our faith with anyone, but sometimes our explanation of Christ and what he has done in our life can sound weird. You share the startling news that Jesus is the Son of God, and some people blow you off. You tell someone that you have trusted Christ as your personal Savior, and she might laugh. You talk about someĀthing you learned in church or from reading the Bible, and they just don't get it.

That's what Paul was talking about. He said that the message of Christ-the very message that is so superpowerful to those who believe-sounds like foolishness to others.

But don't be discouraged. Go ahead and share with confidence, because you are telling about God's complete wisdom and truth. You never know how the Holy Spirit is using your words. After all, it's not up to you to change anyone's heart. So you can be faithful to talk about what God has done in your life, trusting he will use it to honor himself.

TALK: How do people react when you talk about Jesus?

PRAY: Lord, help us to be good friends today. Use our words and kindness toward people as a way to open up their hearts to you.

ACT: Can you name three friends who need to trust Christ as their Savior? How can you let God use you to show them he wants a relationship with them?

You THINK you know the words of Jesus. Just one problem. Jesus didn't write a single thing in the Bible. Not one word. Everything attributed to him was written by other human beings, decades after his death. And some of the sayings attributed to Jesus were written by people who never met the man.

There were many, many oral traditions circulating around the Middle East about what Jesus did and did not say, often contradictory accounts. Only a handful of those oral traditions became part of the Bible. You can claim all you want you will choose the "words of Jesus." The fact is neither you nor I know what Jesus actually said and what sayings in the Bible were the words of his followers attributed to Jesus. FACT.

Actually FL that just isn't true.

The bible has passed the toughest literary scrutiny. There is little doubt Christ said the things recorded in the 4 gospels and in Acts. The disciple John, an eye witness, records these words from Jesus. "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." (John 14:26)

If I thought you had a sincere bone in your body, I could go on ad naseum about all the external scholarship that has been performed to scrutinize and verify these things. It is really quite profound.  The argument that you bring up is old hat. Asked and answered for hundreds and hundreds of years.

Also, in john 14, Jesus also tells us how we can have personal witness that these things are true. "Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him." (John 14:21)
All you have to do is obey in love and you can have the proof you need.
