Webbites  vs. #10 Ezell-Harding W 47-0
Webbites vs. Knoxville Halls W 42-0
Webbites at #11 Franklin Road Academy W 35-14
They beat FRA on the road and destroyed Halls........

Knox Catholic must visit this jugernaut and I know the odds are not in our favor.....

The Webbites have been dominating this entire season and lets face it Catholic has looked ordinary in its wins.

Big rivalry that means nothing now that KCHS plays the publics and the Webbites play with the "privates". I expect Webb to have a great outing and attempt to put it to the Fighting Irish

I know the Webbites are chomping at the bit and salivating to get some Catholic

You might want to consider the strength of schedule between the two teams.  Webb hasn't played anyone yet.

Speed vs. Size this week.

K-Man, you're correct about scheduling differences.  I will note that Webb did hang in with Farragut at the Jamboree, they run-ruled Halls, which hung in there with Powell and Oak Ridge, and beat the fajesus out of Central.  Rarely have we played a public school here in ET and gotten beat.  We've owned Powell, Anderson County and A-E over the years.  Sweetwater was no match last year.  They clock CAK everytime they get together.  Catholic is really the only local program that has dominated them...well, I take that back, they couldn't hang with Alcoa a few years back.

Back to Friday.  Hopelly Blance, Sr. will be healthy enough to play.  If so, I give us a chance.  I just don't know that they can handle Cat'lick's size for 4 quarters.  I hope so cause I'm sick of losing to them.  BTW, this soaking rain won't play in our favor.  Our speedsters need to be able to cut, unlike their mudders who just plow through it.

I'm installing the damn Irish as 7 pt. favorites for today.

Link, are you really bragging about "hanging with Farragut" for one quarter in the jamboree?

One quarter doesn't even give the Ads enough time for the steroids to kick in!!

Catholic will wear Webb down. I just don't see that close of a game. Hopefully, Webb will come out of the game healthy. Catholic is just too physical. The quarterback Williamson is the real deal. Plumber, based on your comments you really believe Webb has a chance??? Me thinks a liitle sarcasm in your post.

Lefty, a great opportunity for a post with a lot of tongue in cheek, play on words, a suggestive good natured ribbing.

Webb is better fundamentally, especially on the defensive side of the ball.  Their speed can be the difference, weather permitting.  Plus, they aren't nearly as one dimensional as in the past.  They're probably averaging close to 200 yds passing to go along with 250 rushing.  It should be interesting.

K-Man, bottom line, they stood toe to steroid pumped up toe with them.  And Catholic showed they can, too.  Yes, depth is a HUGE advantage for UF over them both, but they proved it ain't all numbers.

Oh, and if A-E can hang with Cat'lick, I know Webb can.
