I agree. Each person's name should have been announced. One of the most talented teams to ever wear the orange.

Lurker,

The opportunity for the UTAD to change its behavior and ways is there and there is nothing standing in the way of it HONORING these former players and letterman publicly on that $4 million IMG scoreboard they brag about.

*********

I was going to start another thread a couple of weeks ago, but I told at least one SPS member that the UTAD and Mike Hamilton need to cough up the money to offer FREE tickets for EVERY LETTERMAN who wants to attend ANY game--FB or BB!  How many tickets could that be?  I doubt a 1,000 a game.  So what.  That is a small price for honoring the lettermen--not to mention the goodwill it would generate.  Those guys are skattered all over the country and there is no way the LETTERMEN would show up for each game.  Those guys built that stadium and that bean-counter-in-charge had NOTHING to do with that!

It is a freaking football game, not a museum!!! Sky, I hope its not you or your buddies trying to start up the wave each time Crompton has the ball out there... I think whoever picked out the Kid Rock intro before each kick-off made a brilliant move. It is F'ing perfect, -it makes me want to run through a wall more and more each time they do it! Turn it up to 10 and blow those blue hairs OUT!!!!!

Pirate that is exactly what they need to do, run off all the old farts with money. That way guys like Tony can sell sponorships to Iledio's pizza, maybe I could get Time Warp to toss in a few bucks to operate that mega buck operation.

Pirate thinks UT's bean-counter in charge is going to solve all his problems while Monte Kiffin and Basilio sit up there in Q with him as they await the retirement home.

piratesniffer,

Are you telling Lurker his idea is bad as well?

There seems to be an opinion that the need for VASF money(tax deductable and donations are not needed nor are the blue hairs that give the money. Can you imagine the price of a ticket without them? Probably over $100 a ticket for everybody IMO. Think what that would do for a 30's something with a family who wanted to support UT!!!!! Lot more test tubers IMO....
