Can Lane, who is Crompton's brain, play to Crompton's (for my friend, Knowledge) and the team's strengths?:  handoffs to Bryce Brown and Montario with Kevin Cooper blocking.

We don't need anymore moral wins or moral losses.  If not, when?

Will Lane have 3 or more QB prospects at the game?

I say he gets the big win v. Auburn, but don't give him the a raise until he gets 3 excellent QB recruits in here.

BTW, "signature" win is one of those sports terms that should be dropped.

Has Souther Cal lost more games when they where a 20+ point favorite than any other school in history?

The only thing that will come out of this game is how bad the AD at Auburn embarrased the AD  at UT with their new hires.

The 1989 game vs Auburn was a SIGNATURE win for the TENNESSEE program and put UT back on the national scene again as a big-time program.

This would be a GOOD win for THIS season.  I hope a signature win is down the road when UT is competing for championship.

UT last beat Auburn in 99 something like 24-0.  Auburn beat UT in 03, twice in 04 and again last year.

UT last beat Auburn in 99 something like 24-0.

That was something like UT's 5th straight win over Auburn.   Auburn is on about a 4 or 5 game winning streak on UT now.   That needs to end this week.   However, the biggest difference in this game will once again be, UT has Crompton and Auburn doesn't.
