I found this article about recruiting that should show the Vols need for a talent upgrade is being met. Lets hope they can win a few more games and finish strong. I understand this is just ESPN and they don't know near as much as a few "experts" on SPS. Let the spin begin.

The only down side is 3 teams rated ahead of the Vols are from the SEC. At least the Vols are staying the course. Emjoy...http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recruiting/classrankings

Nice job. I really "emjoyed". However,

This is not February and that is obvious. When Gran leaves how many does he take? This is not done. The problem on a serious note is this. 1. They ran off what ammounted to an entire class already. Next year will be worse than this year. The following will not be much better. Why? 2. They ran off the lineman and it will take 3 years to recover from Lane's self destructive behavior. 3. They ran off two great QBs and are counting on a 6'5" 170lb QB that nobody else wanted to first come and than to be good early. How many kids as true freshman ever did well at QB? Very few. 4. The fanbase is not showing up. The only draw this program has is the size of the stadium and the crowd. You lose that and you have next to nothing.

Decommits will begin in December. Count on it. 4-8

RT, enough with the agenda.  I get it.  You are a Tennessee fan and you want them to win.  Now back to hating on this board.  It's all Kiffin's fault for running off all these future AA players and silent commitments.  We would have a top 10 offense if Boyd was our QB.

I knew if I threw out the bait, I would catch some carp...I just didn't realize that I would get the "lunker" on the first cast.   I also want to thank you for the spelling error. Everyone knows you NEVER have any grammatical errors or spelling errors so I am honored that you would use your 6th grade education in such a helpful way.

Now to your spin...if all you have is the hope that these commits will NOT sign then you are left with nothing but a handful of shite. Just don't close your hand cause you might get chunks all over your overalls. The QB is the 6th best rated QB in this class. I will take the true scouts opinion over your agenda driven opinion. Regardless, he will be a huge upgrade over what is on campus today. These "great QB's" that were run off, one is now playing at a lower division and the other is recovering from his 7th knee operation. Doesn't seem like much of a loss to me but hey...who am I to question such a well repected and educated dumbazz such as yourself.

I am glad this staff ran off the malcontents. The sooner the other malcontents leave and the talent is upgraded, the better this program will be. Turnover for a 5-7 team is certainly a good thing. This staff has proven what a great staff they are at bringing in talent and no one, even you with an agenda bigger than Fulmers gut, can deny this program needs better players.

Currently ranked #5 and rising, this class will be remembered as THE class that helped put UT back into the hunt & mix. Just another step in the right direction and as a fan, thats about all we can ask for...as far as talent upgrades.

How does DuhVols manage to do some much posting when he has Fulmer's balls lodged in his throat?

The Vols are being so successful in recruiting, I have to ask:

"Which comes first, a BCS bowl or probation?"
