The poor boy fears for his life

Welcome to big boy prison!!
Quote
While in protective custody, Cobbins may mingle and share meals with a small number of inmates away from the prison's general population.

He could be locked down in his cell up to 23 hours a day if necessary, based on threats to his safety.

Somebody on this forum expressed a belief that he was going to get cred because of the crime and he was going to be looked up to!!

No he is going to get that  raped and he will probably get shanked.  Life without parole could be a short sentence, I bet their is a price on his head. I also bet that the only cred involved with little Rome will be the cred earned by raping or killing the guy!!

"I'm sorry!!  Did you think you were going to the Hampton Inn.   This is a prison and there are bad people here.   Maybe you should have thought of that before you committed murder.    Now run along and have a nice day out there in the general population."

That would have been a real short conversation if I was the warden.

It sounds to me that Cobbins is afraid he might get some "anal penetration" while he is locked up! If he is scared then he will have a good long time to be afraid! I hope he gets butt f*#ked every damn day!

Last remark on poor lil Rome, he has a decision to make. I do not want to pay the extra taxpayers money to house him in 23 hour lockdown for the rest of his life. When you go to prison you have to decide to either fight or die. Then you have to decide will I be someones bitch or will I be a man.

Now I understand that Rome wants to be housed near his brother so I hope that the DOC does not make his wish come true. I hope they do not send him to Riverbend. Even on death row their could be some interaction. The one thing we learned about these 2 idiots is that young Rome is very dependent on his brother LeMarcus. Time for him to stand on his own 2 feet. Fort Pillow is the Gangsta's Paradise and I think he as a LWOP does not qualify for the Pillow. The thought is that this moron will be institutionalized in a very short period of time because of the brain damage he suffered earlier in his life.

Next thing Burchett is running for mayor and his calling the state Commissioner of Correction George Little is good politics.  But if Little  made a decision with my tax $$ based on the whims of some damn low life scum politician then he should be fired. I don't give a damn what Burkett thinks as far as incarceration decisions made at the Administrative level. It costs more money to house a scumbag maximum security than it does medium security. He is still in prison and he ain't goin nowhere except a morgue..

Raping a dude gets you killed in the joint, not street cred.

Anyone catch Gary Christian's comment yesterday when he said "prison is a dangerous place, something might happen to him."?

MRM Christian is a loose cannon, but Newsom is for real and he can probably reach into many different worlds...You know what I mean?

mr. newsom is for real ??? what does that mean ? i agree you don't judge always judge by someone's demeanor, but i don't know what there is about mr. newsom that would allow him influence in a state prison.

due to mr. christian's rant on tv last week, cobbins was moved today (mon) to a max security facility in west tenn.

i am not so sure that we wouldn't be better off leaving cobbins at hardeman. i was told by a kpd officer that the place is a snake-pit and has a larger white population than you would find in a typical max facility. sounds like the type of place where cobbins would be less comfortable and in more danger on a day-to-day basis.

cobbins wouldn't stay in protective custody forever and a medium security setting would offer less staff supervision, thereby exposing him to an inmate population who have evidently taken issue with his crimes. this hopefully would lead to the eventual brutal and painful demise of leatlvis cobbins.

My comment about not wanting to pay for Maximum security for this bird, well here we go!! Damn politicians are always grandstanding!!
http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2009/nov/03/correction-chief-says-putting-all-killers-in-maxim/

Currently, he said, there is a "waiting list" of inmates to be assigned to the 900 available maximum-security units in the system. A maximum-security designation is a key means of discipline needed for management of a prison, he said.

Putting all murderers into maximum security, he said, would require millions of dollars for building new facilities or modifying existing units plus millions more "on the operating side" for extra guards and other costs.
I don't want to pay for this  /UTFootball/ let them kill each other or learn to get along.. Just don't let them out!!

Medium security. Living side by side with maniacs, mass murderers, perverts, and other types of fellow smelly old men working in the laundry and other jobs and dieng in prison for less money verses maximum security of  being locked in a 12 x 12 cell for the rest of your life getting your meals handed to you, , safe, earning priviledges of reading material TV time etc 1 hour of sun time and costing millions. Out of protective lockup their will be caged interaction to play cards, school access, etc

This post might interest you, many want to put all murderers into Maximum Security. Hell we can't afford to lock up felons period.
