My son and I saw 2012 at the Riviera tonight. I really enjoyed it. It is defiantly over the top on effects, but it is a pretty entertaining movie. Like all movies today, it has bit of an anti religion agenda, but it’s not very hard to spot. I enjoy discussing these things with my son after seeing movies as he learns to think critically and spot hidden meaning planted in the storyline.

We saw men who stare at goats last week. That whole movie is an agenda. We had a long discussion about that one. 2012 is a more enjoyable movie, in my opinion.

My wife and daughter went and saw Men who stare at Goats, she thought it was hilarious and she watches Joyce Meyer. I want to go see it. I am not much on end of the world disaster movies but I liked Morgan Freeman in Deep Impact.

My son and I are going to see 2012 this week.  I'm looking forward to it. I didn't care for Staring at Goats at all despite being a fan of silly movies in general.

I can't stand George Looney! He is as un-American as Sean Penn.

Deep Impact was awesome.

I'm going to try to check out both 2012 and Goats.

If you liked Deep Impact, you'll love 2012. It was a pretty good movie. Not as goofy as Deep Impact. I agree with Maxxgas about the anti-religion aspect.
