I see Ingram's name up in the Heisman Opinion Poll.  Where is Monterio Hardesty's?

He fumbled against a pass against WKU.

He catches passes well.

He is a great pass blocker.

He is a great leader.

I think their yardage is a about the same.

Monterio Hardesty has had a better year than Ingram when you consider the circumstances of transition to a rookie coach, a thinned defense, and having to play with a lesser line than what Ingram ran behind.

Hardesty also played behind a QB who took part of the year off and had little receiver help for 2-3 games.

bama has a good defense and Hardesty faced it AND FL's while Ingram faced neither.  Chavas and Steele are the only ones with defenses in the SEC West.  Except GA, all the SEC East teams had good defenses.

No, he does not have bama's or daddy's name, but the guy is JUST AS WORTHY as Ingram!!

I'll take Hardesty any and every day.  He is a better "all-around" back ! ! !

Better "all-around" in what way?

Rushing yards:
Ingram - 1429 (so far)
Hardesty - 1306

Receiving yards:
Ingram - 246
Hardesty - 223

Yards per rush:
Ingram - 6.5
Hardesty - 4.9

What am I missing? Ingram blocks very well also. He missed a total of 1 1/2 games due to injuries or being pulled after the first half against weak opponents. How is Hardesty better all-around?

The only thing I could say, is I'd might rather have Hardesty behind Alabama's line. UT's o-line was a patch work with two walk-ons starting for a good bit of the year.

I agree with Ingram as a true Soph, versus 5th year senior. And the ypc is hard to ignore. Both will play on Sunday.

I'll take Ingram.  I will say that Bama has a much better OL.  Fulmer picks Foster.

not even close. Hardesty by a country mile. the bamer back could not even break 100 versus us and he got less than 35 yards v. auburn.

Ingram is a man child! He was compared many times to E Smith on TV and given much man love even with the chosen one the boy clipper on the field. That was a bold statment!!

The Bama back has an sec championship ring and the Bama rushing record.
Hardesty has nothing and neither does Auburn except losses to Bama.

Put that in your crack pipe and smoke it azzhole.
