What stat proves any logic that Hardesty is a better back in any phase than Ingram?

bama homer values,

Terrible Towel just asked Fever this question and I would like to see your answer:  "Seriously Feve, what do you think Bama's record would be without Ingram?   Do you really think he's the best player in college football?"

BTW, I see no "stat" requirements for winning the Heisman Opinion Poll.  Hardesty is just a more complete back and leader and he played against tougher defenses as I stated earlier.  9.5 men in the box in most cases.

K,

You would think they would learn.

BTX,

You watch Amish John Pennington's show on Sunday's?  The first time I heard him announce a segment on "What would the morons say?" I thought he was talking about silly Basilio and his Whine & Biscuiteers like Mouthpiece.

I have just tried to apply silly Basilio techniques since about 2001.  I have stated that repeatedly, but they keep reading, biting, and verifying my comments.

Would Tenn record be any worse without Hardesty?

I dont think either is really the best player in the country. The Heisman is only that in name alone these days.

How is Hardesty a more complete back and what tougher Defenses did he face?

And if Ingram had been playing for Tennessee, they still would have been 7-5.    Take Ingram off Alabama and they are still 12-0.   What's your point?

Not with the Sullins brothers getting thrown back into his path, he wouldn't have.

badbob,

I think you knew the answer.

I still have a watch that does not work now made by "The Dirty Time Company."     It has Spiro's head on Mickey Mouse's body complete with gloves on the hands which are supposed to tell time.

I also have an "Easy Rider" poster with Nixon and Agnew's heads replacing Hopper & Fonda's heads.  As they ride their choppers, Spiro (I think.) says, "We blew it."

Those were the "Magic Carpet"days.

Knowledge,

Spiro Agnew never met the 1180 Whine & Biscuit crowd.
