We were selected for the Papa John's Bowl but our opponent is Connecticut instead of Pitt like I was hoping.  Connecticut must be good though, I saw they played Pitt and Cincinatti in close games this season.

And y'all played a bunch of people "in close games this season" too.    Will the winner of this game be the one who actually scores the most points or will it be the one who keeps it "close?"

I would hope we can shut them down if they do not add many wrinkles to the offense for the game.  IMO, these games are hard to predict and a bowl game reveals the capability of a coaching staff more than any other game during the season.  Most teams add alot of new schemes and when both have good motivated athletes, the coaches that adjust the best during the game wins.

If I were a betting man, I would always gamble my money on the motivated team with the better coaching staff in the bowl game.

Example:  I might bet on a motivated Cincinatti team that is well coached playing an unmotivated Florida team that failed to meet their goal and their head coach is depressed about losing Tim Tebow.

Take it easy on Gray. He can't see too good from atop his soap box.

Charleston, I like the UConn/SC matchup.  I think it will be a close game with the Gamecocks coming out on top.

IMO, Florida will kill Cincinnati.

Charleston,

Gray could not spot Charleston on the map if you spotted him Pawley's & Beufort.  He calls Powell, TN and Queens home.

Ya'll beat us but not for the reasons above.  Sometimes you have to factor in inexperience, home field advantage, black jerseys, and distractions.
