Here's hoping for Jay Graham.    However, Graham has never been called an offensive genius.

Quarles wouldn't put up with that mess.

Gotta love the ignorant UT fans who are incapable of thinking outside the box. It seems like it is always Fulmer vs Kiffin for some of these frauds with an agenda.

How 'bout them GATORS?

pirate,

Why not Carl Pickens while you are at it?  He would fit in with Lane.  We could proudly claim 2 dudes with 'tudes.

Anybody remember a HS coach named Gerry Faust from Ohio?

His record was just as good or better than the last 3 ND coaches....for a lot less money.

Gee, I am surprised at how far Coach Quarles' stock has fallen on SPS.

****

Terrible,

Gary Rankin has just rolled the talent out there--not unlike the way Spurier had to kick the talent off his porch in the state of FL.  How much Div. I talent has he had there?  Coach Meske is the entire package--3 state titles in 14 years, too.  My guess is Webb has had about 3-4 Division I players during that time.

Rankin has the talent for sure.  But he also pushes his players, has discipline (something missing at Alcoa before he arrived) and has built up the numbers in the football program.  Alcoa was actually able to stand toe to toe with Maryville in the trenches this year.  I never thought that would happen from an Alcoa team.

All those guys are great coaches.
