Leaving Ingram completely off your Heisman ballot? Pathetic. Word is several voters from FL and Mississippi did the same. What a disgrace.

How many players can the place on their ballot?

I don't think there is any agenda there at all.  Seriously Feve, what do you think Bama's record would be without Ingram?   Do you really think he's the best player in college football?

3 players on the ballot and honestly, if he wins it that would be great, but I'm much more concerned about beating Texas. To not put him in the top 3 is ridiculous. And yeah, I do think he is as good as anyone in the country.

Ingram is not even the best RB on Bamas team. Richardson is bigger, faster and has better open field moves than Ingram. He is a great back but he is not one of the best 5 players in America.

Su is the most dominant player in college football and it's not even close.

why do they allow more than 1 vote anyway? Just vote for the best player and be done with it.

The guy has a sub-100 yard game v. Tennessee and can't even crack 30 yards v. Auburn and you want people to give him the Hiseman?

He is not even the best back in the league or on bamers squad.

He is a great player but I don't think he deserves to be called the best player in college football for 2009.  Alabama doesn't believe in promoting individual players or has that changed.

No, Alabama does NOT believe in promoting individual players- I'm sure you've all read the quote from The Coach..."At Alabama, our players don't win Heisman Trophies. Our teams win National Championships."
Coach Bryant after being asked why no Alabama player has ever won a Heisman Trophy.

That being said, me being pissed off at these two losers is just the fact that they are doing this simply because they hate Bama. Their votes should be objective and not reflect bias towards another program. That simple.

On one thread you Bammers extoll the greatness of the team and brag about how every coach, player, and trainer has won some type of award.    From the sound of it 39 players made 1st or 2nd team All SEC and 28 of them will probably be first team All American as well.

With that many great players and coaches on one team, I don't think you would have missed one of them, including Ingram.    Bama would still be 12-0 without Ingram.  He's a very good player but not a Heisman candidate.

The Heisman now goes to the best player on the best team (for the most part)

Ingram is certainly deserving in that regard
