I think the scrutiny has more to do with the Success of the SEC and the opinion of folks outside of the SEC and preconceived bias that goes with that. The SEC is dominating because we CHEAT(Bama, Auburn etc), our academic standards are poor, (uneducated hillbilly, one tooth etc) loyal moral ethics(incest, high teenage pregnancy rate) TN is the whipping boy and Lane is perceived as arrogant.
