Well, almost.  They hired Turner Gill instead.  Tough luck, Phil.

Louisville...no thanks.
Memphis...really...there's not enough BBQ there.
Notre Dame...Father Phil???

Still hope for Virginia or CinCity.

Why must you hate on a living legend?  They didn't interview well.  He is waiting on the Dallas job like I said before.  He is in demand.  That is why he had a huge buyout.  Right?

Richmond's coach went to Va.  Maybe Phil would like Richmond instead.  He is starting to embarrass himself.  He should just retire to Jackson Hole.

Fulmer is gonna coach again only as an assistant at a major program, or a head coach at a minor school that doesn't sniff the big stage.

With Turner Gill leaving, the Buffalo job is open.

Coach Fulmer made a big mistake publicly indicating interest in the Louisville and Notre Dame jobs.  It kinda seems like he got frustrated in his agents inability to find him a head coaching job and just said I'll find my own job.  It looks like Fulmer just overestimated the demand for his services.  I don't see Fulmer accepting an assistant coaching position.

To make matters worse, there haven't been very many openings this year.  Even Ron Zook saved his job by letting four of his assistants go.  I don't know what's going on at Maryland and Colorado.

He is starting to embarrass himself.

volman I would argue that he has already embarrassed himself and it gets worse with every job that is filled without him.  He had better stick to financial advising or whatever.     I'm guessing Silicone Mamma is really getting on his nerves.  She has probably shot those laser eyes at him and he desperately wants out of the house.

Wasn't Claw from Richmond ???  The Spiders produced 2 D1 coaches in the last 3 years and Phil can't get a sniff.

Maybe he should interview at Oak Ridge or Catholic ???

I see in today's paper that the Fulmers just purchased 6 acres ($0.5 million) adjacent to their home in Maryville.  Doesn't sound like someone getting ready to relocate.
