Spurrier "leads" the Gamecocks to the Papa John's Bowl in dismantled Legion Field and the Gamecocks brass responds by giving him an extension!!

I especially the part where Stevie says, "..upcoming recruits and the young core of players currently on the team can help him finally achieve his goal of getting South Carolina to the SEC title game for the first time."

I can just hear the SCarolina administration responding to Spurrier by saying, "and a muuuule?" in response to this promise!!

Ol Stevie is 35-27 in his 5 seasons at Scarolina.    Does that make him the winningest coach in Gamecock football history?

Just think Knowledge...If Spurrier wins the SEC, he'll probably get future unborn generations of Spurrier's contract extentions and guaranteed income.

USC might be the 2010 favorite to win the SEC East.  Jupiter & Mars must be aligning.

What is the movie?....2012 about the end of the world.

How many years does Kiffin have left on his current contract?  Always need 4 to 5 for recruits.

If he can do that, they need to rename the city or the state after him.

I doubt the Clemson contingent will let us re-name the state.  If it were up to them, it would be named after Danny Ford.

Maybe the SEC could name the East Division after him.

Didn't a UT coach have an automatic extension for 8 wins recently?

Do ya think Spurrier would get a life-time contract for 8 wins?

He's done that already.  If he won 10 games, they would probably tear down the stadium, re-build a new one, and re-name it after him with free premium tickets for life.

For 11 wins they would give him a cemetary plot beside Strom Thurmond's.
