First, I will not tell my sources because I would lose those sources and hurt friends.

Now, MRM or whatever, you can say whatever you want but I told you people for a year in as many ways as I know how that this was a horrible mistake. I know you hate this but I am right and have been all along. Be a man and admit it now.

Translation: he has none, he just guessed lucky.

Gray,

I am going to ask if it is OK to share some things that were going on over there. This person is still employed by UT and will likely be for the next staff. If I reveal specifics then it will get back to them.

I am not a reporter, and I don't claim any credibility as such. You are just ticked that you were warned about this group and now the UT program has just imploded. If you feel better throwing stones at me, then have at it.

I said it when UT hired him this was a bad hire. Too bad the posts don't go back that far or I'd prove it.

i think there are 4 camps.

1- hated the hire from day one, never liked it, the "i told you so crowd" - sky, pv

2- not happy about the hire, but supportive of the program and hopeful that LK would turn things around, now realizing that your initial instincts were right on. i would put you in that category MRM

3- excited about the hire, thrilled with the changes, and now devastated that he bolted. this is most fans in my view

4- excited about the hire, thrilled with the changes, and now understanding why he left- more money and to go back where he is from. i and TT are in this group. and yes you can still think he is a snake while understanding why he did it.

Put me down for #2 as well.

Happy or not with Fulmer's results...there's alot to be said about the Fulmer loyalty.

It's time to restore some integrity.  Don't let the door hit you, weasel...

You left out a "camp." RockyTop and his ilk who were against Kiffin from the rumor stage and then hung on every word the idiot muttered. "Wafflers."

Not true with me.  I never hated the hire from day one.  I will say, he never "won me over."  I sat through that Peach Bowl snoozer and he had the team ready for 11 minutes.  The team was unprepared for UCLA, Auburn, and Ole Misery and I told you what I saw.

I thought there was a chance he could do it even with all his considerable bagage.

It tears you up that PlumberVol, I, and others were right to kick the tires on Kiffin untl he produced.

actually, it doesn't.

i don't blame you at all.

i DO have a fault with the way you guys defended FRAUDmer as the titanic sank, which is still the bigger story. UT isnt a .500 team for the next decade because of LK.

The Fulmer loyalty could have been because nobody else wanted him and UT overpaid for him.   Kiffy may still be unproven, but he's a great recruiter and can bring Shrek and Monte with him.

Coach Fulmer could have been just as good as Skippy in recruiting for one year, if that was all he did.  Coach Fulmer didn't have 3-4 family members wiping his butt.
