No one that follows recruiting was surprised by him saying that.  The fact is the last coaching staff thought Stone was overrated and their style isn't for everyone.  I hope we get Stone, we need all the OL we can get.

Seems that some feelings were hurt because Lane didn't think this kid could play.  Obviously, the last staff had several great recruiters.  Thats the main thing I took from this article.

Seriously?? You would base your college choice on the personality of the coach? Saban is all business. Apparently, this kid wants a friend. Good Luck at UT James Stone.

No.  the definition of a loser is someone who spends all of their time on a board consisting of mostly UT fans and try to get their attention by denigrating the Vols.

Recruiting is all about personality, over the years recruits and/or their families have made the decsion to go elswhere incompatability.....
