If you could add someone and remove someone from President Obama's staff/cabinet, which people would you chose?

The person I would add would be David Gergen as a presidential adviser.  I think Obama needs someone with both intelligence and common sense in his administration.  Watching the numerous panels on CNN and the other cable networks it seems that Gergen has a great feel for what the American people want and what is practical.

The person I would drop would be Eric Holder.  He seems to be in way over his head similar to the AG (I think his name was Gonzales) under the  Bush administration.

I'd drop worthless Geithner or Summers (both if I could) and add any of a dozen economists who've actually been right for a couple years at least on the economy.  Ravi Batra - nobody knows who he is - would be good, but there are several.  The only think that matters is the economy and they've squandered the opportunity to reform the corrupt and broken financial system and/or our trade posture.

What are two changes that you would make to Obama's staff/cabinet?

1) Dismiss them all and do not replace them.

2) Dismiss Obama and Biden and replace them with a chimp and a Shi Tzu.

Bonus answer:  Tie Pelosi and Reid to each other and drop them in the Great Dismal Swamp with bacon around their necks.

2) Dismiss Obama and Biden and replace them with a chimp (Huckabee) and a Shi Tzu (Palin).

Huckabee since he's a fan of evolution, and Palin because she's a beotch.

Um, NC, the last time I checked neither of them is in a position to abrogate the Constitution, raise taxes, set the federal budget or impose dictatorial rules on our lives.

Stick it.

Um, OMG, last time I checked Obama ain't going to retire, so your suggestion was either very stupid, or tongue in cheek.  My response assumed yours was tongue in cheek.

Stick it yourself.

I see so the county will really run into a ditch and a new republican majority will emerge from the ruins, to lead us back to the glory days of Bush/Cheney and the GOP majorities in Congress.  I sure hope that is the case!!!  What wonderful times.

Remember, it is wrong to say you hope the president's policies fail.  Shocked

My point exactly....

Ncvol....do you hope Obama's change will change once again?

I hope things get better for Americans, in fact they can, with less government involvement, but as long as the the bull is in the china shop do not expect anyone to be paying for any of the pieces that are on the shelves.
