Tenn has the SEC record for the most consecutive years with a former player in the Super Bowl with 17. That streak was broken last year. That also corresponds with the Phil era by the way. Who is second????

Another nice bit of Phil trivia. That and the most ALL Americans by a UT coach, most legit National Titles and soon to more than Double if not triple the number of NFL Hall of Famers form this great tradition of 2 currently

Fulmer Cup
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search
The Fulmer Cup is a tongue-in-cheek award given each year in the United States to the Division I FBS college football program whose players collectively have the worst criminal record.[1]

The Fulmer cup was conceived and named for former University of Tennessee football coach Phillip Fulmer. While Fulmer was coach, the Tennessee team had a number of players arrested for criminal activity, although admittedly fewer than many of the Volunteers' SEC rivals. The University of Florida and University of Georgia have attracted national attention for the high number of arrests and criminal charges faced by football players under current head coaches Urban Meyer and Mark Richt.

The University of Delaware holds the record for highest score among Division I FCS programs.

[edit] Points
Points are scored for each charge received by players. (Players must be on the team roster at the time of the offense). The scoring for the Fulmer Cup is imprecise — murder is 5 points, rape, bestiality, and grand larceny are 4 points, assault et al are 3, drug possession et al are 2, and misdemeanors are 1 point.[2]

In order to be eligible to win the Fulmer cup, a school must have more than one player charged. In other words, a school may not win the cup on the basis of a single player's criminal record. This is known as the Ellis T. Jones III rule, after the San Jose State wide receiver who in 2006 was charged with 13 felony counts, including robbery, assault, and kidnapping; accumulating 31 points.

Coach Fulmer, since he was fired by the University of Tennessee, is like a big old sticky bugger that just won't go away.  What an annoyance he has become.

Gus, why don't you do what you promised months ago and yesterday on local Knoxville radio to Hooker and drop the obsession with Coach Fulmer?  You and others trashed the guy for years and now you want ALL talk about him to stop.

You enjoyed the trashing of Coach Fulmer when the 1180 Last-ditch crowd was building up the fraud Skippy K for over a year.

You guys are obsessed with the guy and DaButchy & reactions to his threads are prime evidence of that on this board.
