Great interview by the Hall of Famer Phil

Derek Dooley Interview

DaButchy,

Thanks for that great interview.  That must have been tough on the hater above.

Are you related to Da'Rick Rogers?

Plumber,

Coach Dooley is going to be more tight-lipped than the 1180 Last-Ditch Element is going to like.  I like it better than Skippy telling everyone the freshman were going to play.

I appreciate everything Fulmer has done for UT and the program. But he is not the program and he no longer works there as the football coach. Time for all you clowns (lovers and haters) to move on.

Actually, Coach Fulmer is the program--along with all the other coaches who came before him and those hired since.  It is NOT the NFL.

I guess we need to get over Peyton and John Gruden, too.

I will continue to celebrate Coach Fulmer's achievements along with Coach Majors' and the others'.

All the coaches and all the players are the program. But Fulmer is not THE PROGRAM like many on here and radio stations tend to think. The ones that think Fulmer invited UT football and it will never do anything without him are just plain stupid.

Folks have just got to get over hatin on Fulmer.......Every jackleg analyst in America declared that TN had a deficit at the DT position in its recruiting class and Fulmer gets bashed for asking?

Coach Dooley didn't answer either when he was deposed.     That must be part of the "process" he picked up from bamafever's boy.

Sky,

Since you and Da are going to be buds, perhaps you can help him with his spelling skills! Only over at your place though, where the homage to Phil shrine is at a one poster to a wall maximum...

pirate,

I would rather use the motel you, Last-Ditch Basilio, and Skippy, Monte's boy, used.  I bet I could get some coupons from you for it?

I am just a UT fan not quite up to the level of the Last-Ditch Basilio level, but for the life of me, how did supremely bright and worldly guys (to see you describe it) like you and Last-Ditch Basilio get taken in by Monte's boy, Skippy?  It doesn't make sense.  You boys slobbered for over a year.

I guess with your boy, Monte, blood was thicker than character?

As Dick Nixon used to say when he was doing his scams, "[You wanted] to believe."

If Coach Fulmer plans to do more tv work he needs to learn to not look down at the desk and to look into the camera.  His producer must have been screaming look up, look up!

Gus, why don't you do what you promised months ago and yesterday on local Knoxville radio to Hooker and drop the obsession with Coach Fulmer?  You and others trashed the guy for years and now you want ALL talk about him to stop.

You enjoyed the trashing of Coach Fulmer when the 1180 Last-ditch crowd was building up the fraud Skippy K for over a year.

You guys are obsessed with the guy and DaButchy & reactions to his threads are prime evidence of that on this board.

To each his own.  At least jr. went away.

That was an "interesting" exchange between the two coaches. I think Coach Dooley handled himself well...
