-What happened last night to your hero, Mr. cut that meat? I tried to tell you last week that this was going to be a much harder win than in days gone by against the mighty chompers  . I knew that the VOODOO would be too much for him, and you should have known irregardless, that the Aint's D would be the difference. Because one day you will figure it out Sky, that at the end of the day, when its all said and done, it's the D that only matters... Perhaps the next time at Peyton's Super Bowl presser, he will learn to talk less about UT's hires, and a little more time dedicated to enlightening the rest of us on how he is going to avoid throwing the ball to the wrong colored jersey in the 4th qtr.

And oh by the way, for the record, I am on board with camp Dooley (for now). -But this guy he has hired from the smurf-turf better know what he is doing....

Defense wins championships but offense creates interest. I don't watch football to see great tacklin, I watch football to watch great offense... Great baseball is a 1 to 0 pitching festival, that is why old folks watch baseball!!!

PlumbBob you should know that baseball today is in love with the long ball and lots of scoring.  Why else is the ball juiced ?  Hmmmm................?  1-0 games are so rare anymore.

Gotta agree about the D.  That Colts defense looked like what Monte Kiffin put on the field at Tampa his last four games and against UCLA, Auburn, Ole Miss, and VA Tech.

Peyton put the ball in their hands for the win--the Colts and the Saints.

Are you still getting text messages from Skippy and the rats?

why does a fan of a team need to be a sheep? What the hell does that even mean? Sheep    that is something many of you lost your virginity to.

If you want to believe the Colts lost because of the pick 6 that is certainly your right no matter how ignorant that statement is. The Colts were outcoached and out played...plain and simple. Manning was on the field for 6 snaps in the 2nd qtr. Lots of blame to go around for that to happen but it was more to do with the Colts D not making a play when they had opportunities. The Saints D had a great game plan but they did not shut down the Colts O. Go look at the stats.

The Saints were the better team on that night and you know to much about football to make such an ignorant statement. As far as Tom Dooley...I think the "operative phrase" that the "experts" use is "Still kickin the tires"...

Sounds like Rockel Welch is still on the Skippy bandwagon.  No surprise there.

 RT,

-please bear in mind that my comments expessed above were slanted to try to educate certain individuals about the common principals of football that are more often than not, selectively ignored. That being said, I concur with all of your post, and will add that Manning was for sure short-handed this time around, and cannot do it all by himself. I expect to see him back at the party next year with a better supporting cast around him.
