Ok time for the big announcement I was talking about

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wes Rucker and I have joined forces to bring UT Fans an one hour radio show Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on ESPN Radio Knoxville 1180.

Our first show will be March 15, we will stream it live on our website each day and will have an archive of shows here on one of the boards.

The show will be called the InsideTennessee Sports Show, an one hour sports talk show, about nothing but Orange and White.

Are you buying time like Basilio does or are you a legit program.

Is your program associated with Basilio's amateur hour?

If NO to both it might be worth the time. Rucker has been doing some good stuff lately. It looks like he is actually spending some time doing research.

Also, will you be giving small mike a forum/platform to spew his venom?

Who the hell has the show from 9-11 on 1180 now?

Good for Wes!! He is a good boy who I have known since he was a very young toddler. I have known his Momma since I was 5 years old. Wes is a good ole KCHS grad who graduated with my son. Good to see the homey do gooder

If it rains on March 15, will the first show be on March 16 or will you be delayed for a couple of days?

Sounds like good news.

Did they clear this with Last-Ditch Basilio?  Hopefully Last-Ditch Basilio's tennis guy won't be contributing to that show.  Last-Ditch's tennis guy was on the air today trying to figure out why Tennessee would NOT succeed in post season.  More of him and the 11-2 slot will probably be available.

SanFran,

Have you weighed James Bryant & Wes Rucker?  There is a weight-clause litmus test for hosts on 1180.

"The greatest quote in Knoxville radio history [was] when Kiffin was hired.  Hyams was interviewing Pete Carroll - Basilio was talking to W. Lynn and Small Mike. Absolutely classic!"
