The difference between a democrat and a republican is crystal clear as far as Health Care reform. Democrats are pushing to create something that would not allow somebody to be cherrypicked out and leave those with chronic pre existing illness without coverage. The Republicans are concerned about restricting the right of folks to sue for malpractice........

For goodness sake we need some sort of Health Care reform. As poor as it this may be it is the only thing that can be passed. I see nothing the republicans want to do as far as health care reform other than restrict folks from sueing for malpractice and passing no BILL.

I am really put out with the entire Democratic Party but Republicans are such slimy pieces of  /Kiffin/ I don't know why anybody bothers. This country is screwed. Lenin was right "The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them."

If one were in a coma for the past 30 years and suddenly woke up to read this message board, they would think that health insurance companies are just good folks who have been maligned by the mean ole Democrats. Why there are only a handful of cases where health insurance companies deny coverage for legitimate claims. And of course, all those denials are based on valid reasons, not because the health insurance companies' standard practice is to deny, deny, deny, hoping that policy holders either get fed up with the red tape to get a claim paid or die before they have to pay the claim. Health insurance companies NEVER cancel policies when they learn someone has a life threatening illness that will require tens of thousands of dollars in treatment. Maximizing profits is not their raison d'etre. It's to insure that everyone gets the best medical care possible, regardless of cost. Finally, there are no problems with health care in America. Everyone knows we have the best health care system in the world where all citizens get gold star treatment. There simply is no reason for health care reform because there's nothing to fix.

If you believe the above, you're dumber than dirt and a regular, rightwing poster on this forum.
