It doesn't matter, we want it, we demand it, we goin  get it!

What does it mean in my life. My 19 year old gets to stay covered until he is 26 and I get him established in the world.

I as a diabetic no longer have to fear being cherry picked out at work or my wife being fired because I have a chronic illness just to keep the insurance rate down.

I as a diabetic will not be forced to go the disabled route because I am uninsurable.  I get to stay in the work force and be productive

Does your son have a disability that prevents him from getting "established in the world" until he is 26? I wonder why 26 is the magic age? Why not make it 30, 35, 40, lifetime?

Maybe he needs to join the military. They will get him "established in the world" right away.

Don't you work for the government?

Probably makes a lot less difference than you think. Plans provide coverage while they are in an established school as a full time student. Then after they graduate they fall into COBRA coverage until a certain age. This is self pay coverage that has to be offered that allows the company to lump all self pays into a self sustaining  pool. This includes those that might fall onto continuation due to chronic illness etc. for up to 35 months. It is high as hell!! It is also only offered to those that are not eligible for coverage elsewhere.

It is strange that the so-called "good christian" republicans think so highly of the selfishness and greed of an avowed atheist? Ayn Rand???

Good Christian? Bwa-hahahahahaha!
