The American people, at least half of whom are the objects of scorn of this group of 400, deserve to know who was colluding against them so that in the future they can better understand how the once-objective media has come to be so corrupted and despised.

Yep, 400 journalists' collusion against over half of the American peoples is indeed something to snooze at, meanwhile F  Lane L makes another thread about the "ignorant" "evil" "hate-filled" "Tea-baggers" or Palin..... might one say According To Our Resident socialist liberal atheist Malcontent This Is No Big Deal? One might.

Quote
The fact that 400 journalists did not recognize how wrong their collusion, however informal, was shows an enormous ethical blind spot toward the pretense of impartiality. As journalists actively participated in an online brainstorming session on how best to spin stories in favor of one party against another, they continued to cash their paychecks from their employers under the impression that they would report, not spin the agreed-upon “news” on behalf of their “JournoList” peers.

Librul media bias, dbm, msm, oh noes, it's sooo terrible to have all this bias.

If folks would step back for a second, they'd see where the actual bias is.  Follow the money.  Who owns the media companies and who funds their operations through advertising.  When you figure that out, you'll see where the bias is and what subjects are covered and what's not covered in polite company.  The librul media crap is just insanely stupid or ignorant or naive or all three.  It's a bias towards who pays the bills and funds their paychecks and the money that funds all the national media outlets comes directly from the largest corporate interests who have a vested stake in the government that they've spent decades buying.

I'm not sure what part of "Owned by billionaires and funded by billionaires" is hard to grasp.  They aren't as a whole "librul" they are self interested which is how they became billionaires personally or the companies came to dominate their space.  They didn't get there by protecting working people, that's for damn sure.  They got there rigging the game in their favor.  If that's "librul" then I guess the Fortune 500 is "librul."

What's amazing about Breitbart is he's really without any principles at all.  If he'd read the WP the day Weigel got fired, the people who DESPISED him were right wingers, not liberals.  Every librul outlet that I read liked Weigel, thought he did a good job.  It was the The tea baggers who hated him because in recent days he'd criticized RP fans, aka "Paultards" and the really offensive quote was about Drudge.  So the group who purged him was the Breitbart crowd, but that liar turns it around and blames it on the biased libruls who were enforcing a certain orthodoxy.

I can't believe I wasted three minutes reading words written by Breitbart or responding here.  The guy's a flake and an idiot and he should be ignored.  I'll try to do better to take my own advice.

Does making a made up statement without any evidence at all to support it make that statement true.  Because if it does, there's a lot of statements I'd like to make.

"Yes, the collusion of the GOP with the Fortune 500 to push the U.S. into depression so they can round up the poor and put them into camps where they'll be killed is nothing to snooze at....."

Breitbart's job is making up shiate and passing it off as news or journalism.  He's a hack and an expert in inflaming other people.  Until you can provide any evidence about these 400 people on an email list conspiring against YOU why not talk about something that has a shred of support.

BTW, if Breitbart wants to talk about unethical collusion, maybe he'll mention the talking points that go out of each party every day to their stable of talking heads.  Isn't it amazing how the right wingers and the left all have the same points using the same words each day?  Gosh, is that not collusion.  Or the gatherings held in both the Bush and now Obama WH to news people who share their viewpoints.  Bush invited Rush, Boortz and others for special access.

See, if Breitbart wasn't a lying hack, he'd point these out too, but he's a lying hack so he ignores the real institutional collusion in favor of something he can make up that sounds sinister, instead of focusing his audience on what IS actually a problem.

Oh noes it's all about the monies...at least that is the spin Ncvol always puts on things...well IF one was to step back one might ask why the liberal leaders do the things they do....in the name of the people....oh noes it's all about the money....
so rather than acknowledge that 400 journalists collusion is a bad thing.... ( I wonder if those reporters and journalists and bloggers and media leaders give up their high paying checks for the betterment of mankind or spend spend spend in hopes of fueling the economy?)

That's right if you don't read it from the MSM it must be made up... Nc's argument about making a made up statement without any evidence...make a made up statement without any evidence. So a story about liberal media bias must be untrue, because the biased liberal media did not tell you it's true....film at 11.

Where is ANY evidence that liberals 'collude' on this list.  Where is the concern on talking points issuing from the RNCC, Rove's groups, Dick Armey, the coordinated messaging we witness on the right wing every day.  An honest person acknowledges these collusions as equally dangerous, but lying hacks ignore them.

Breitbart is a flame thrower.  He makes good money.  So does rapper 50 cent.  I don't take 50 cent seriously because he makes money with media.  If evidence of "seriousness" means making money with film or voice, then all of Hollywood, like Brad Pitt!!! are now my political heros since I'll bet old Brad can poney up 100k to throw around in a PR move too.  I've noticed this recently in right wing circles - money is now a key word for deserves respect.  Hey, let's have a new policy, we'll just appoint rich media figures to government since they must know what they're talking about.  I nominate Barbra!!!  She's got more than the next 10 conservative media members, so she must be REALLY smart.  Then we'll put up Oprah as Barbra's second in command!  Wow, a powerhouse of serious political firepower.

And no, liberals really don't have to lie.  Maybe you can find some evidence of this librul conspiracy with these 400 journalists, but so far you're making it up, with no evidence whatsoever, and pretending like alleging a conspiracy makes it true.

The part about the funding of the media is, however, fact.  It really is funded by billionaires, either the owners, or the advertisers.  And somehow you as a free market disciple have to explain how the people whose money funds "librul" shows (like Meet the Press) allow that product to be so darn "librul" and against their financial interests.  Of course, you can't explain how it would occur because it doesn't occur.  I suppose you know the most popular guest on those Sunday shows (just as an example) is the guy who lost the last election, McCain.  The fact is the media is biased towards their advertisers and any objective look at the coverage indicates that to be the case.  It must be the case, because advertisers don't fund a message they oppose.

I get a kick out of people who say they believe in free markets think these markets break down somehow when it comes to the media.  They think the advertisers are somehow forced to spend their money on a message they oppose.  It's really quite fascinating.

My point was Breitbart said in your first article it must have been (could have been?) a librul conspiracy to 'get' this guy Weigel.  Here's a quote from idiot Breitbart:

Quote
Why was he chosen for outing among 400 “JournoList” participants? I can think of few liberal journalists who have been more fair than Weigel. And if I think that, imagine what true partisans on the left feel about his erratic and ideologically unpredictable output?

Weigel’s career at the Washington Post was assassinated for his crimes against conformity. Try as he might, as a left-leaning journalist he didn’t conform enough. When conservatives jumped on his exposure, he cited defending me as a mitigating alibi. Defending me publicly is a hangable offense in them thar liberal hills!

So, I said Breitbart blamed the firing on libruls, and he did.  The fact that there is other stuff in his website that is contrary to that statement just proves my point about Breitbart.  He really adds nothing of substance to any topic.

More statements based on nothing.  This making up statements without any support must be fun.  I will have to give it some thought which statements I should make up based on nothing.

I try to get you guys to offer evidence, especially on economic matters, and YOU NEVER DO.  Not EVER.  Heck, I'd love to be able to debate a subject using facts instead of vapid talking points.  How about we start with wages.  I've posted numerous bits of evidence showing all the gains in recent years have gone to a handful at the top.  How do you explain it?  Do you think the evidence is deceiving?

BTW, I noticed the ACORN stuff in that list.  I suppose you never put a transcript up against what Breitbart and the whore and the pimp's video supposedly showed.  BTW, do you realize the pimp dressed in slacks and a button down while in front of ACORN but put on that ridiculous pimp outfit for his PR stunts?  And you're complaining about lies by liberals... got it....
