Underground Dog Fence REVELATION....

If any of you fools have installed your own underground dog fence, you know that the worst part is burying the wire around the edge of your yard. I helped my brother in law this weekend - we buried about 500 feet of line. Now, using a shovel in that instance was nonproductive - we didn't have enough beer to last that long. The edger idea might have worked out but we couldn't get the dam thing started and then we broke it. As we stood in the garage wondering what to do next, I spied...........THE CHAIN SAW. Gentlemen - that saw cut through soil like butta and we had the wire installed in about 45 minutes. Of course, we have to get a new chain but what the hey = and don't let your wife see you doing that procedure, but it worked great. Now here's the funny part: we had put up all the little flags around the edge of the yard and were just standing around drinking some beer and admiring our work when one of those door-to-door security company salesman with the identification card around his neck and the clip board with pictures etc... comes walking up. Well he starts in with my brother in law and won't stop. I waited patiently then finally I butted in and said,"Hey, do you see all those little flags around the yard? It's an underground fence for our 170 pound St. Bernard - ie. - Cujo. If somebody has the nuts to break into this house with a dog like that hanging around, your security service ain't gonna be much help." He walked off looking around behind him and stuff...........
