Quote
Whew, finally...
After a year as a postulant, last night after high Vespers in the
Chapter Room, was the ceremony for my entrance into the novitiate and
getting clother in the habit.
I did not change my name, after 56 years of being "Alan", well, i'm
sorta used to it...Hi Mom...!:0{)
I thank you all for your prayers and be certain to let me know if you
need any special intentions prayed for here!
(this group of monks has some powerful connections....!)

For all my family members, i'll see ya in a few weeks at the Ross Fest @ Mepkin!
For Uncle Dick, we're still hoping & praying for an eleventh hour
miracle & you can come two.
& All my friends & buddies, i hope you can stop by sometime, or at
least email me!

Love ya'll,
Br Alan

It is a bit embarrassing to have been concerned with the human problem all one's life and find at the end that one has no more to offer by way of advice than "try to be a little kinder".

Hey, I had pizza and beer with that guy at Stefano's few years back.  Congratulations to Brother Al!  The Orange/White Bandit will never be the same!

Brother Al looks like he might be ready for some Yoga action, too.

"The greatest quote in Knoxville radio history [was] when Kiffin was hired.  Hyams was interviewing Pete Carroll - Basilio was talking to W. Lynn and Small Mike. Absolutely classic!"

Is this the guy you introduced me to a few years back? The fellow who attends IC and who use to work at Food City?
