Wow! The short-term political fallout of that legislative fiat from the bench is going to hurt Democrats tremendously come November election time. It is wrong on so many levels and for so many reasons. This activist judge is a Clinton appointment and close friend of Hillary. This ruling also gives Hillary 2012 a HUGE boost. This is why you saw Barry on that Jerry Springer-like show The View that is scheduled to broadcast tomorrow (Is that a stain on the Presidency or what?). The political collateral damage fallout for Mr. Obama is a defection of many Democrat women voters to Hillary 2012. Ergo, you have The View unpresidential astro turfing appearance to get the President's disastrous poll numbers back up especially with white liberal Democrat women. The fact he has turned up the heat on the Afghanistan War with no results and has yet to shut down Gitmo is not helping with the liberal Democrat base either.  Bottom line, Hillary 2012 scores big with that judicial fiat ruling. BTW, does anyone have a beat on whether the Obama family got an invite to Chelsea's wedding paid for by Georg Soros?

Susan Bolton was appointed by Clinton, based on the recommendation of Arizona Senator Jon Kyle. Kyle is a REPUBLICAN  .

It is wrong on so many levels and for so many reasons.

The only thing wrong was most of the legislation in SB 1070. Thank goodness the Federal Court struck down the blatantly racist parts of the law.

Quote
In its original language, SB 1070 would have made it a state crime to be caught without papers in Arizona, and would have allowed police officers to question any person's legal status while enforcing state and local law, and even civil code--like failing to recycle, or not cleaning up the weeds in your front yard. The law would have mandated that a police officer question any person they had "reasonable suspicion" to believe was undocumented. Further, a person who was arrested would have to be held in custody until their immigration status was confirmed. These are the parts of SB 1070 that were enjoined yesterday.
---
The Department of Justice's lawsuit against the state of Arizona rests on one clause in the Constitution, which says unequivocally that the federal government alone has the right to create and enforce immigration law.

There is NOTHING about these sections of SB 1070 that are American, much less constitutional.

President Barack Obama says he didn't make the guest list for Chelsea Clinton's wedding.

In an interview on ABC's daytime talk show "The View," Obama said he wasn't invited because former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton wanted the event to be about their daughter and her future husband.

Obama says that's probably for the best, joking that it will be tough enough to have one president at the wedding.

Just Chicken  /Kiffin/,

If you're so f'ing sure that Hillary is going to run against Obama (given that you post this nonsense almost daily), why don't you man up and put your money where your mouth is? The bet I offered you several days ago is still on the table.

You won't take the bet because (1) you're a blowhard who knows that you will lose the bet if you take it and (2) you're a coward.

It has been a great week for Hillary 2012 Gray. Did you catch the downward projection of GDP for this year? Obama's Commerce Department is having to downgrade budget projections for the nation's GDP due to  horrible economic data. This will only fuel the Hillary 2012 fervor amongst Democrats that are dissatisfied with this present administration. The liberals are taking on water and the Democrat boat is going under rather quickly. Look for Axelrod or Rambo to get some flunkie in the administration to pick a fight with someone like Limbaugh to create a Boogie Man for the liberals to rally against. Hillary is praying for skyrocketing jobless numbers to built her platform around. If the official jobless numbers remain above 10% that will be the impetus to launch Hillary 2012. When you don't have a scintilla of accomplishment to tout you are forced to demonize the opposition in order to rally the fringe base.

This ruling doesn't do a thing for Hillary. What it might do is offer a boost for the Republicans who support Arizona. The majority of Americans support it and may make their voices be heard this year and in 2012. One of these days, people are going to get tired of being jerked around and actually do something about it.

The problem with discussion of the Arizona law is that the most of those in favor of the law are to damn stupid they can't discuss the particulars. One of you mental midgits linked a copy of the law. Great the only problem is that the law is asking for some documentation that is not required nor provided by the FED(Visas for High entry countries) In other cases the perceived mind set is that their is this large % of illegals(10% or less according to the source, most put it at under 7%) The problem is not illegals, the problem is a % of America does not want them here illegal or legally. This bill will the republican majority on the Supreme could actually rule this thing legal. If that happens the Fed has to react because at that POINT FEDERAL LAW will be in conflict with STATE LAW and it appears that the FED has the jurisdiction. What will they do? Probably re instate Visa's for bordering high entry countries. Some tweaking with the rules that allow agricultural workers entry to pick and grow food(Price of food will go up) Entry of families with one member holding a work visa. Probaly tighten up work visa's over all and the result will be higher taxes for City, county and states. The FED will have to HIRE FEDERAL WORKERS to enforce the law. The hiring freeze at INS that was in efect under Bush will have to go. Etc. If you noticed I never even approached the profiling issue, nor mention brown/black skin nor mention those folks wash granny's ...

You mean the Federal law that IS NOT being enforced? Why have the law if it is not enforced? And please don't dig up Reagan AGAIN. Let's try to keep the discussion in this century.

The problem with discussion of the Arizona law is that the most of those in favor of the law are to damn stupid they can't discuss the particulars.

I also like how those who are against the law never discuss the particulars. We have heard that this MAY lead to racism and that it is unconstitutional, yet none of the loons want to show how the law is ACTUALLY racist or unconstitutional? Also, how in the world can the SEIC and other unions be against this law when that decision goes against their supposed constituency?

Bottom line, it is ALL about getting these illegals legal so that they will be documented democrat voters ASAP. Everybody else has turned against the dems, so when all else fails turn to race baiting and illegals to bail your out and keep you in power.
