As usual, you're amazingly uninformed and/or deaf and dumb and blind to the GOP with regard to the 10th Amendment.

For example, did you know that Bush prohibited the states from intervening and shutting down the crooks in the subprime lending business?  The whole regulatory philosophy of the GOP is to seize regulatory power from states, house all of it in the federal gubment, then use the bought and paid for boot lickers in the GOP to define down anything that might limit the big boys.  They did it with subprime, with banking, and with air quality, to name a few.
