I would guess anything we find out would  be if the kids gained any weight over the summer. The radio said that Bray still looked thin, but he was very accurate passing the ball in drills. The offensive line appeared to have added some bulk as far as muscle. The two new DB,s are very athletic. I am not on campus like I was last year since I retired from the 478, but I still have a parking pass and access. I will be there for the first day in pads. I am interested to find out how the incoming frosh look, the question with many of these incoming kids is if they have a body that can cotribute early.

Practice news? You think this is a sports board or something?

Don't you have a thread about Kiffin, Duhvols, or a Sky like rant? If not, please move along.

Practice Report:
It was hot. Bray is skinny. NCAA sucks. Good day.

DaRick Rogers put on a show from my understanding. We will know more when they put on pads but this guy is as good as the hype. If he stays healthy, he has a chance to make an immediate impact.

What what I heard he has the speed of some of the earlier WR's that made UT WRU. He likes to make the acrobatic cath like Gerald Jones, plus he has the size. I have no idea if Simms has really progressed like the folks are saying, but you have TO LIKE THE IDEA OF THAT GUY 1 ON 1 against short SEC db's when the inevitable blitz comes at us to take advantage of the young and Green OL.

What is up with DD talking about the talent of this starting 5 on the OL? Talk about

Well, what do you expect him to say.   We stink on the OL and they probably won't block anyone.    This year is  O V E R.

I knew a guy who was on Majors' first team at UT.   He said Majors would talk them up in practice and try to build their confidence up and then they would get back to the dorm and see Johnny on the local news moaning about how  how he couldn't believe how much the talent had slipped and how UT would not be competitive until he could get a few recruiting classes under his belt so they could get back to SEC talent.

Said that did a lot for the team's confidence and their respect for wht ol Johnny had to say to them in the future.

Rumor that  Ben Martin hurt his achilles tendon.....  Martin left ankle/foot on crutches. Hughes cramped up. Moore twisted left knee.

Fr Michael Palardy will continue to kick, punt and work on kickoffs.  K Daniel Lincoln and P Chad Cunningham continue to do these chores. Remember Punter Matt Darr will be coming in next year. Sounds like DD wants Palardy on the field.

The veterans practice was moved indoor due to weather.

Simms looked accurate and the Frosh has a rifle, without pressure or pads. Milton a bad day catching.

Malik is big perhaps he is a future DT DT. Pair at LT, Stone LG, Fulton RG. Hunter and Rogers impress me,Wells also looked good. Nance probably should have went to Vandy, he will end up being a FG holder DeMario Williams is an athlete, he will not redshirt IMO
This is a twitter report I got...

RT, hopefully, you got the information about Ben Martin from your normal sources!!

If he is out for the year, it is a good thing the kid transferred here from USC.

He is but the plan is to save him for next year...............

I suppose that this means the kid needs surgery.....

Wes had a very generic overview of the injury on his show.........
