Nevada Senate Candidate Frames Issue of Government and Harry Reid's Role Dead On

I don't know how many readers of the board have been following the Nevada senate race between senate majority leader Harry Reid and Tea Party movement candidate Sharon Angle who won the state's GOP primary a few months back but it is shaping up to be a microcosm of conflicting worldviews that epitomizes the current debate in the public square of the proper role of the national government in the everyday life of Americans. President Obama and senator Reid have marshalled liberal forces in mass to attack Tea Party movement candidate Angle for her views that the Democrat Party is trying to make the national government a behemoth sized deity that demands total allegiance and obedience from all citizens of this constitutional federal republic. If any of you look to the web for news the obligatory ubiquitous smear stories have started to appear in droves the last few weeks that portray the Tea Party movement candidate as a hybrid of Lonsome Rhoades and Bishop Fulton Sheen. Do not go to this site unless you have a strong antivirus program) In addition, talking/thinking point smear instructions have gone out on Twitter and various Democrat web sites to operatives to slander Ms. Angle at every opportunity and on every venue possible. The dominant liberal media industrial complex has also joined this chorus of vile invective to destroy Angle and perpetuate Reid's rule in the senate. In the liberal electronic media world Chris Matthews at MSNBC (spare me the Emails I know no one watches this failing cable network) and Diane Sawyer at the network level (another ratings disaster for CapCities/Disney shareholders) have picked up the Democrat rally flag and are faithfully carrying out the liberal directives as instructed.  In short, the Democrat political long knives are out for Ms. Angle. In essence, she has the entire Democrat political machine bearing down on her in order to secure Harry Reid's legislative career which includes advocating massive debt



and the destruction of the finest health care delivery system the world has ever witnessed by creating a euro styled socialized medicine system of health care with national government "monitoring" panels. Harry Reid and the Democrat machine have adopted the strategy  of attacking Angles religious faith calling the political neophyte "frighting" and out of the main stream for calling for the curtailment of further expansion of laws and regulations intended to limit the freedom of the average citizen. Keep an eye on this race. It counties to get interesting as we sprint toward the November elections.

Angle, a Southern Baptist, has called herself a faith-based politician and prays daily. Among her positions, she opposes abortion in all circumstances, including rape and incest.

Angle had a double digit lead on Harry Reid in June. She now trails him. The voters in Nevada are finally waking up to the fact that Sharron Angle is a religious nutbag who has no business being Senator.

Sharron Angle refuses to take questions from any media (local or national) unless they are Fox News or some Christian broadcasting network. She literally runs away from reporters trying to do their job.

What kind of political candidate refuses to answer questions from the press and will only do interviews with "friendly" media, by her own admission?

Again, she had a double digit lead in the polls over Reid in June. She now trails him. She is a certifiable nut and her actions and radical policy stands on issues are the reason why.
