Uh, I said from the beginning, and repeatedly, it looked like a harmless college prank that would do NOTHING to affect my vote one way or the other.  All I said was I'm not sure the KY "conservative" voters would see the humor in getting stoned and taking a girl to the creek to worship Aqua Buddha.

I think smoking pot and then doing a harmless prank about taking the woman to the creek happened, is the bottom line.

Looks like a group that could have some fun playing a harmless prank on a coed.

Heck, the woman confirms it was a harmless college prank.  It's not 60 Minutes with some forged National Guard documents or anything - it's a story about a kid in college doing what college kids do, which is act like a total fool while high.

Uh, I said from the beginning,

Uh, did you not see the beginning.....of your OWN thread?

"they made me"

now it is:

"they didn't make me do anything"

You see no contradiction in that from your credible, unnamed source?

Did you ever work for Clinton?

Maybe I just understood her words a little better than you did or have superior comprehension skills!    Or maybe it was that she said this, included in the original article!

I know when somebody makes me do something sadistic, I consider it a pleasure.

Since we're talking about bets, I'll bet she's known by this time tomorrow!  Call up a half dozen swim team members, ask which females are now in X profession, call the one or two that qualify, and there you go.

Any updates on the name since it would be so easy to find out who this credible source is?

I noticed ltc is avoiding this thread for some reason. Maybe ltc or the "credible source" was misquoted again.

Yesterday: "they made me"

Today: "they didn't make me do anything"

Avoiding the thread?  I have made several posts...your obsession with me has clouded your reading comprehension and ability to be rational.

FWIW...the incident HAPPENED...I am not sure anyone has said it didn't other than you mr. obsession....the details may have changed from the first report....but there is little doubt that it happened. .

Says who?

Listen to this "logic": The details may have changed, but it happened.

What if the "details" change to the point that it didn't happen.

Hey that is just like Dan Rather and his Bush national guard story. The documents were fakes, but it happened! AMAZING "logic"!

BTW, your last post on this was yesterday. And that was before those pesky "details" changed.

You really are showing either stupidity or lack of rational thought to continue to deny that the incident happened.....as for the original story vs the current details...I don;t believe I ever said anything about the details of the incident...only that it happened...which it did!  BTW, WHO CARES? Not me particularly.

I will quote the story from NCVol's thread starting post:

The strangest episode of Paul's time at Baylor occurred one afternoon in 1983 ... According to this woman... "He and [Rand Paul] came to my house, they knocked on my door, and then they blindfolded me, tied me up, and put me in their car. They took me to their apartment and tried to force me to take bong hits. They'd been smoking pot." After the woman refused to smoke with them, Paul and his friend put her back in their car and drove to the countryside outside of Waco, where they stopped near a creek. "They told me their god was 'Aqua Buddha' and that I needed to bow down and worship him," the woman recalls. "They blindfolded me and made me bow down to 'Aqua Buddha' in the creek. I had to say, 'I worship you Aqua Buddha, I worship you.' At Baylor, there were people actively going around trying to save you and we had to go to chapel, so worshiping idols was a big no-no."

Followed by you wanting to bet:

JR, I believe the story is true...going the FL route, let's bet!  I will bet you one   if it turns out true.......

Now you say this:

I don;t believe I ever said anything about the details of the incident...only that it happened...which it did!  BTW, WHO CARES? Not me particularly.

In summary: NCVol posts those pesky details regarding the story, followed by your statement of "I believe the story is true". Today, the "story" has changed quite a bit and you still say "it" happened.

JR, good thing you didn't bet with ltc. He would never say he was wrong and would continue to say "it" happened. Only we ain't figured out exactly what "it" is since "it" keeps changing. But "it" happened mind you.

There should be some kind of ratio we can create to gauge ltc. The more names he calls you = how bad he has been caught in a hypocrisy or "misstatement" regarding some pesky detail.
