I will support UT win or lose! I will be positive and I will call down anybody that comes off as negative.......

Stop your whining bitching moaning and groaning. If you can't enjoy the UT experience go be a FL or Bama fan....

Come Sat at least 70-80,000 of us will be at Neyland supporting our program, hundreds of thousands of us across the state and nation that can't be there will be watching and supporting the program. The rest of you all can go to to hell as far as I am concerned.

Get your Orange on and wave those flags. A new age of UT is about to dawn and you are either with us or against us.... This team, coach, and the program need patience and support, give it to them.       Grow a set!! In this age everybody bitches and moans and do not want to do their part. Hard work and doing your duty is considered a vice.... Get off your deadbeats and support your team.

   Outstanding.

I plan on being there early enough to see the Vol Walk and hear the band play and march in the new entrance.  I love UT football and enjoy it.  It is such a break to get over there and enjoy seeing the games with those who obviously enjoy being there.

I went to the UT v. GA 17-17 game with Little Oil in 1968 and we sat up in the new upper east side addition.  I think Coach Dooley was about 5 months old.  Denny McClain won his 30th game that day.  Man it was high in those stands and it was a great game.  I will never forget watching those plays unfold on that new Tartan Turf.

GA had Bill Stanfill at end, Jake Scott at safety, Mike Cavan at QB, Bruce Kemp at running back, and maybe Olympic guy, Billy Payne, at tackle.  UT had Bubba Wyche replacing Dewey, Ken Delong at tight end.  Jackie Walker, Steve Kiner, and Jack Reynolds played LB.  As I have said before, I will never forget Hacksaw running down that All-SEC running back down the sidelines.  I think Austin Denny caught the TD as the clock ran out that brought us to 15-17.  Little Oil had insisted on leaving, but we stuck our heads back in to see Wyche and DeLong tie it with 2 points.  UT's defense was relentless with its hustle.

What a great sports day!

That bunch will NEVER let Coach Fulmer go.  The NC was the worst day of their lives.

I thought the 1180 Whine & Biscuit Show would be fired up for the new era in UT football last Saturday.  I turned it on for 10-15 minutes and there was the same old collection of hosts or callers including SoonerBrockyTop & the crying gas host moaning about Coach Fulmer.

I heard little SkippyJethro, Last-Ditch Basilio's right hand man, trashing Rucker's show with cheap shots about Coach Fulmer yesterday.

I am so glad that I don't have to go the game with bitter fans like Kiffin's Buffet and Gray.  Life is to short for that.

I will never understand those whiners and moaners who claim to be UT fans.  Gotta agree again with PlumberVol about them and where they can go.

DANGERVOL summed [Basilio] up:
"The greatest quote in Knoxville radio history [was] when Kiffin was hired.  Hyams was interviewing Pete Carroll - Basilio was talking to W. Lynn and Small Mike. Absolutely classic!"

what about 80K in the stands???? Should be easy to count the turnstile. By the time KY rolls into town, the stadium will look like old school TBA. It will be Big Blue and Black for the curtain they will need to put up. Rocky Bobby kept saying last year would be a sell out when I explained that no game would come close. Some will never learn.

Or he could just use a pair of Phil's black pants.  You've probably taken a few of those off him before.

Just maybe one of your all time posts Towel.                               Great suggestion BTW.
