It is a bit embarrassing to have been concerned with the human problem all one's life and find at the end that one has no more to offer by way of advice than "try to be a little kinder".

They are the arguments that kings have made for enslaving the people in all ages of the world. You will find that all the arguments in favor of king-craft were of this class; they always bestrode the necks of the people, not that they wanted to do it, but because the people were better off for being ridden. - A. When I was listening on my last break tonight, Farragut was winning 12-0 at half-time. I must have missed a great second half...

The "Arish" dug themselves a deep hole in the 2nd quarter by allowing Farragut to score (PAT failed) then fumbling inside the 15 on the ensuing series which led to the Admirals' second TD (2pt failed).

The Irish then scored on a TD pass before half and went in trailing 12-7.

The 3rd quarter was back-and-forth with no scoring.

Cat'lic scored with 8:22 left in the 4th Canto (h/t John Ward) to take the lead at 14-12.  Farragut answered to regain the lead at 18-14 (2pt failed).

The Gold-and-Blue then put together a drive culminating in a touchdown with 2:38 left in the game. (PAT good)

Farragut took the ensuing kick and went four-and-out and that, as they say, was that.

Big crowd at Blaine Stadium, lots of KCHS legends in attendance. Great game and great HS atmosphere.

In a departure from last week, the refs mostly kept their flags to themselves.

I said "lots" not "every."

Or do you think Messers. Deatherage and McClellan don't count?

Besides, I was there!

Of course, just a tongue in cheek reference to the fact that I am in no way a KCHS Legend. Not even in my own mind!

I've been here 10 years and this is the worst Farragut team in that time.    You should be worried that the Irish struggled with a one dimensional team.
