Wow, that was awesome DM.  Thanks for sharing.

Is that the same Platt that wrote Radical?

Yes, it's the same person. I'm almost done with Radical. Very similar in many ways to, "Crazy Love."

Radical is simply an indictment against the current state of Christianity in America. He makes some obvious points, and has some good stories. I 'm not on board with all his assesments. It's odd that two of the most popular books about American Christianity are both from mega preachers. It is refreshing considering the Joel Osteen types out there that are at the root of the problem.

Thought so.  DM you need to pick up a copy and read it.  If you don't feel guilty afterwards, you have no conscience.  It's a book that challenges your Christian values from the ground up...

The book has made me scold some of my friends who say they're "living the American dream".  It's made me redefine my own ideas about my American dream.

Ill check it out, and I feel guilty already.....I was just thinking yesterday, is it possible to love God too much and is it possible to be too zealous with true faith? I know that when I ever ask that question can I do more for Christ, or have I done enough the answers are always yes and then no.
