Had a blast! Went to the Grand Canyon, went to Gold & Silver Pawn Shop (Pawn stars), saw Ka at MGM (Stayed there as well), saw a comedic hypnotist (love that,) and did the usual Vegas Strip drinking and walking. Ventured up to "Old" Vegas the night we went to Pawn Star's shop. Fremont Street is really trying to pull people from the strip. Great prices on food and the minimum bets at the tables are much lower than strip casinos.  The light show is pretty cool also. The bitch of it is, the Sunday after we returned, MGM hosted the Billboard Music Awards. Would have really liked to attend that event.

Some of the street performers were really good. There were a few musicians who could win American Idol (could have been the drinks too!) who were performing on bridges and on the sidewalks. Saw Elvis at least 50 times. Michael Jackson was also in attendance and was really good. Had to give the bagpipe player $1 at 3:00 am. Love bagpipe music. Went through most all of the other resorts to see the casino areas and lobbies. Vegas has some outstanding buildings. The Venetian lobby is incredible. Ceasar's forum shops were great as well.

Ran into Evander Holyfield in MGM at the elevators. He didn't look as big as I thought he would. He was friendly and signed autographs for people. I snapped a quick picture with my cell camera, but it came out dark. Going to try to fix it with photoshop.

The (I'm assuming illegal) immigrants peddling whores on the street with their little cards were annoying. My wife started out offended, then it became amusing. They are persistent and ever-present, no matter the time of day/night.

Overall, a great time. I'll go again in a few years or for the weekend if a good performer is in town. Not as smutty as it once was.
